“A Day in My Life as a Student Trying to Earn Online”

Introduction

Life as a student isn’t just about books and exams anymore — it’s also about dreaming big. After completing my matric, I decided not to waste time and instead try to earn money online. Every day brings a new challenge, and I’m still learning. Let me take you through a typical day in my life as I balance studying, blogging, and searching for real ways to earn from home.

🌤️ Morning – Planning and Positivity

I usually start my day with a fresh mindset. I check my phone for new updates on Medium or Blogger and look at how many views my latest blog received. It gives me motivation. Then, I make a small to-do list of tasks I want to finish today — whether it’s writing a new blog, checking some freelance sites, or learning something new.

💻 Midday – Writing and Blogging

From around 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, I sit with my laptop and focus on my blogs. This is the time when I feel most active. I usually:

  • Write a blog for Medium or Blogger

  • Edit my past posts and check for grammar mistakes

  • Think of new blog topics that other students may find helpful

  • Add tags and share my posts on WhatsApp and Facebook groups

Even though blogging doesn’t give instant money, I believe that with time and effort, it will pay off.

🕒 Afternoon – Skill Building and Searching for Work

Around 2:00 PM, I take time to learn something new. This includes:

  • Watching free YouTube tutorials on blogging, freelancing, or Canva

  • Searching for small typing jobs or writing gigs

  • Checking local WhatsApp or Facebook groups for work opportunities

  • Sometimes applying for content writing tasks

Yes, many platforms rejected me or didn’t work — but I never stop trying. Every small step teaches me something.

📱 Evening – Sharing, Promoting, and Staying Active

In the evening, I usually:

  • Share my blog links with friends and in online groups

  • Reply to any messages or comments

  • Think about what I can improve the next day

  • Write notes or collect ideas for future blog posts

I try not to waste time on useless apps or random scrolling. I treat this online work like a real job, even if the income isn’t big yet.

🌙 Night – Reflecting and Preparing for Tomorrow

Before going to sleep, I reflect on the day:

  • Did I complete my goals?

  • What did I learn today?

  • What will I write tomorrow?

Sometimes I feel tired or disappointed — especially when I don’t earn anything — but I remind myself: Every successful person was once a beginner.

Final Thoughts

Being a student and trying to earn online is not easy. But it’s possible. You just need consistency, patience, and belief in yourself. I’m still in the early stages, but I know my hard work will bring results one day.

If you’re also a student trying to earn online, stay strong. You’re not alone — I’m walking this journey too. 💪
